With his specialty of delivering outstanding trucking & shipping service and his extensive knowledge of the transportation industry, Refrigerated Food Express founder Tom Welby Sr. ran the business until 1960. When Thomas passed away, his wife, Marion M. Welby, successfully ran the trucking company for 18 years. She went on to earn the respect of industry leaders from around the country-all at a time when it was very uncommon for a woman to be a president or CEO of a trucking company. After a successful career, she passed the reins to their son, Tom Jr., who took over as president and CEO. Tom's keen business sense, passion, and energy guided the trucking company through the years until his passing in December of 2000.

A History of Success
Jim Morse, President & CEO
Since 2000, President & CEO Jim Morse, alongside the RFX Executive Team, have continued to guide both companies through a period of unprecedented growth. Jim began in the transportation business in 1969 and joined RFX in 1988. His vast experience includes formerly serving as President of a nationwide refrigerated carrier in Massachusetts. Prior to that, Jim held various management positions for a 65 year old regional carrier in Boston, MA.
Shirley Bellavance, Vice President
Vice President Shirley Bellavance was hired by Marion Welby, a previous RFX president, in 1969. Shirley marked her 40th anniversary with RFX in 2009. Shirley is dedicated to recruiting and supporting the extensive network of RFX agents across the country
Lynne Parsons, CFO
CFO Lynne Parsons joined our trucking family in 2008. Her financial experience includes decades of success, beginning in 1981. Lynne has previously served as CIO for a petroleum carrier in North Carolina, and Controller for a Dry Van carrier in Missouri.
Joseph Wiley
The company has developed a succession plan that will ensure strong leadership for generations to come. At the top of that list is Vice President Kimberly Welby (Tom's oldest daughter), and Director of Operations Joe Wiley.
