About RFX

RFX Global Companies excels at providing customized transportation services to industries of all types. Whether you need to ship refrigerated, dry, or specialized equipment across the nation or around the world, our logistics support has the perfect fit for your line of business.

With his specialty of delivering outstanding trucking & shipping service and his extensive knowledge of the transportation industry, Refrigerated Food Express founder Tom Welby Sr. ran the business until 1960. When Thomas passed away, his wife, Marion M. Welby, successfully ran the trucking company for 18 years. She went on to earn the respect of industry leaders from around the country-all at a time when it was very uncommon for a woman to be a president or CEO of a trucking company. After a successful career, she passed the reins to their son, Tom Jr., who took over as president and CEO. Tom’s keen business sense, passion, and energy guided the trucking company through the years until his passing in December of 2000.

Strong family values have shaped RFX over these years to become a versatile, reliable multi-modal transportation service provider to our customers every day. Contact us and learn more about the RFX difference.
