Independent Contractor Trucking

Qualifications

All Independent Contractors must meet the following requirements for application. You must:

  • Be 23 years of age
  • Hold a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with no serious moving violations in the last three years
  • Be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Have 2 years verifiable over the road experience
  • Have a working cell phone
  • Present a clean, well groomed, professional appearance
  • Have a permanent address and phone number
  • Have equipment able to pass a D.O.T. safety inspection
  • Knowledge of reefer operations is preferred, but not required
  • Be committed to safe driving

1. PERCENTAGE PAY

Independent Contractor Package pulling our Trailer:

  • New recruits start @ 70%
  • Increase after 5th year to 70.5%
  • Increase after 10th year to 71%
  • Increase after 15th year to 72%

Independent Contractor Package with Trailer:

  • New recruits start at 76%
  • Increase after 3rd year to 77%
  • Increase after 5th year to 78%
  • Increase after 10th year to 79%
  • Increase after 15th year to 80%
 
2. Safety Awards Must meet criteria
  • 1 year $50
  • 2-4 years $100
  • 5-9 years $250
  • 10-14 years 500
  • 15-19 years $750
  • 20 + years $1000
